Tribute: Salvatore Pitti

Salvatore lost a one year battle to Crutzfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD) (sparortic) on April 11, 2005

A father is a strong embrace a support of strength and wisdom.  He points you towards three road to life. You choose the path.Life is a celebration, a gift from God.  My dad would want us to continue to celebrate life to the fullest.  He was a strong handsome man that touched so many life’s.  He was blessed by having five children. Dennis (God rest his soul), Kathy, Mary David & Kim.  We loved him so much.  He had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will continue his legacy. He enjoyed listening and watching Dean Martin.  You would always hear him singing or whistling a tune even when it was a whisper towards the end.  He had a star quality voice up until his last days even if it was a whisper.  His smile was radiant and absorbed everyone.  Working was his passion.  He had so much strength and energy.  He embraced all the best things in life. We love you daddy.

My dear brother Dennis passed from Glioblastome brain cancer in three months.  We were all devested.  We took the pain and put it towards making a difference in the lives of others through TGBF.  MY father was diagnosed with a rare form of Jacob Crutzfeldt disease (mad cow) now my dad and brother can work together.

We will see you in the stars and in our dreams until we meet again in God’s arms.

Thank you for making me who I am.
Love & a thousand kisses,
Mary

Dad,

I know through the years I was a burden to you with all my problems and mistakes I made in my life and heataches I caused you.  But I am proud to say you have guided me into the right path.  You helped me make changes in my life for the better.  I’m thankful you were able to see me go to school and become a certified phlebotomist.  I know how proud you were to see me change my life.  I became a better person.  I made the right decisions in my life with your help.  You told me once, “Kathy, you need to get away from the negitive and go foward,” because life was to short.  And that’s what I did.

You introduced me to Kevin, my husband of 4 years now.  I never would have met him if it weren’t for you.

Thank you, daddy, for all your help and love and guidence.  You were not only my father but my best friend.  You will always be in my heart everyday.  I will not say “good bye,” because I know we will meet again in heaven.

I love you so much,
Your daughter,
Kathy

To my beloved dad,

You were my very best friend I’ll always have you in my heart and in my dreams.  You were the one that helped me get through all of the rough things in life and always encouraged me to strive and do better.  You were the one that I could talk to when times got rough and always inspired me to try new things in life.  I went all over the world with you and enjoyed every minute with you and Mom.  You left alot of loved ones behind but you will always be in our hearts now and forever.

I love you, daddy, and I hope to see you in my dreams soon.

Your daughter,
Kimberly in loving memory
