Tribute: Bob DeCordova

God called Bob home on November 29, 2004, after a fourteen month battle with glioblastoma.

He fought a good fight. He wanted aggressive treatment. He rarely complained, he never lost hope and he always tried.  He was a beloved high school physics teacher.  He loved teaching and he was very good at it.  He was a kind and gentle man.  He would feed the animals in our backyard.  He would bring home our leftovers from the restaurant, he would buy food too.  He was very patient and slow to anger.  The other day my son had a problem and he said I was going to ask Daddy and then he remembered.  I related the story to my daughter and she said she does the same thing.  As I do also, “I’ll have to tell Bob.”  And then I remember.  He was very loved and we miss him terribly.  Let us pray to find a cure.

His wife,
Dorothy
