Second “Roar to the Shore” is a Soaring Success
by Mary Pallotta, Bellmore Life, November 11, 2009
The recent Second Annual Roar to the Shore, presented by Tina, owner of Bellmore’s Salon T. in loving memory of P. Andreotis, was once again a success, raising over $11,000 to benefit the Guardian Brain Foundation.
Off to a late start due to the weather, the motorcycles roared down Grand Avenue in Bellmore as the weather was clearing. The Guardian Brain Foundation thanks the many sponsors from our community who joined in our mission and truly has made a difference.
Please view our website at http://www.guardianbrain.com to see all the wonderful sponsors. Our mission is that we believe in the quality of life and sharing compassion. We provide support service to children and adults with injuries and tumors of the brain and help advance neuroscience research.
The Guardian Brain Foundation is a group of volunteers who raise funds for direct support services and resources, has medical symposiums “Brain Storming Long Island” that brings doctors together for patients, caregivers and their families, and helps to keep memories alive through making a difference in the lives of others.
We are proud of Tina for all of her hard work and support; she has touched so many lives. What a wonderful way to help keep her father’s memory alive.
